Welcome to the USS Archimedes! We are a Science Research Vessel located in the Burwilla Sector; along the UFP-Klingon Border. The year is 2374 and the Dominion War has reached a tragic turning point - as Deep Space Nine has just been overtaken by Dominion and Cardassian Forces. It is a highly trying time for the Federation. The crew of the Archimedes are forced to be mere witnesses to the War, as it would take the Archimedes almost a year at maximum warp to reach the Bajoran System. So the personnel aboard our ship do their best to maintain the status quo.

We have several dozen teams of Scientists working on projects ranging from Botany to Medical Research. Our Chain of Command is one of the most unusual, with Civilian and Starfleet alike sharing the burden of Command equally.

If you're here, odds are that a current player told you about us, since we refuse to "advertise" our Sim. We don't need to be the biggest thing going; we're quite happy just being seven good friends who love to write together.
